Jorge created Anime World by following his joy and the joy of his customers. In 2021 Jorge started making collages from comic books and various art. He started off focusing on super heroes and had success. One day he decided to make an anime piece, he personally loves anime much more than Marvel and DC. To his surprise he sold out instantly. He decided to focus his time and creative abilities into focusing solely on anime. He makes his pieces during the week and then sells them in person at different markets and festivals. One of Jorge’s favorite places to be at is Balboa Park. He enjoys interacting with both San Diego natives and people visiting our city from all over the world!
By listening to his customers and following his joy and passion, he has been able to add additional anime characters and make custom pieces. Every frame is one of a kind. Each collage has a history — it starts out with the main image and then the background is made from manga. Each piece is hand selected and placed together to create a story. A lot of time and thought goes into each piece, an average frame is made up of over 15 individual pieces. Jorge wanted to celebrate this beautiful art and bring it to life. The frames allow you to display your favorite character or anime in your home or office, adding your personal touch to the spaces you reside in. Anime stirs up strong emotions in fans, what better way than to feel inspired every day looking at your favorite piece hanging on your wall.
